The Imperial and Beethoven Spas in Teplice are among the oldest in the Czech Republic, located about 90 km from Prague. They are renowned for treating musculoskeletal disorders including joint pain, rheumatism, spinal problems, as well as complications from strokes, and injuries to arteries, nerves and bones.
The treatment primarily uses sodium bicarbonate mineral water baths and natural mud. The therapeutic waters contain sodium bicarbonate, sulfate rich in minerals, and radon traces.
